Located in the glorious English countryside, this former stately home from Small Luxury Hotels of the World provides a luxurious retreat for guests and their pet. The stunning mansion is surrounded by 1000 acres of parkland, with its own river, lakes, spa and 18-hole golf course. Guests can stay with their canine companions in ground floor Parkland and Flower Garden rooms, with patio doors allowing immediate access onto the grounds. For an extra £30 per night, the hotel will ensure every dogs needs are taken care of, they will organise dinner, a bed, a bowl, a ball and some doggy treats. On request, the restaurant’s chef will happily prepare a pre-ordered doggy dinner using dog-friendly ingredients, and room service will deliver the meals to guests’ rooms at suitable feeding times. The reception team can also recommend great walks around the grounds for dog walkers.

Dormy House Hotel - Broadway, the Cotswolds

Located just minutes from the pretty Cotswold-stone village of Broadway, this 17th century farmhouse is a tranquil retreat that is the epitome of English country charm. Part of the Farncombe estate, the hotel is set in 400 acres of land, stretching from Broadway to the top of Fish Hill, providing the ideal setting to roam the countryside with the family pet. Guests can curl up in front of a roaring fire, sample some delicious comfort food from one of the three restaurants, the Garden Room, the Potting Shed and the Greenhouse, or take advantage of the serene spa with its selection of luxurious treatments and therapies. Guests with dogs can stay in the special dog-friendly rooms, located in the Danish Court Wing. Although some public areas of the hotel including the restaurants, the spa and the reception are pet-free zones, near to their rooms guests will find designated areas within the grounds where their pets can roam free, as well as a number of popular trails for dog walkers.

The Arch - London, United Kingdom

For owners and their dogs who relish the bustling city centre scene, The Arch in central London provides the perfect hub from which to explore nearby Hyde Park. The hotel is located on a quiet residential street to give a sense of peace, however only a stone’s throw away, guests will find cosmopolitan bars and shops including the famous Selfridges. As well as providing a luxurious setting for guests, for an extra £15 per night pooches are well looked after too. On arrival guests with dogs will have a dog bed in their room, with a dog-toy, some doggy treats and some refreshing dog-fur and body wash, even a special ‘Pet’s Menu’ is available at an extra charge. Upon pre-ordering, the Martini Library will happily provide dogs with a specially prepared dinner. Should guests wish to venture from the hotel to peruse the shops, the hotel will look after their pet and even book them in to the Chelsea Pet Spa for treatments at an additional cost.
